2002The beginnings

In 2002, the farm operated as a wholesale native plant nursery. At the time, there was only one 0.6 hectare vineyard of the original Chenin Blanc planted in 1987, which won Best White Wine and Best Wine Overall at the Nedbank/WINE Magazine Green Wine Awards 2009. Over the next few years the farm was transformed into an organic winery

Water comsuption

Water is an essential resource for the operation of the farm, and this is the reason why we only irrigate our vineyards very little. Plants know how to manage this blue gold better than us; we are careful to use it to control the ripening of the grapes. Concretely, we are only talking about a few hours per vineyard and per year!

Recycling

Recycling is constant and delicate work! We want to contribute to the reduction of inappropriate waste and the reuse of most plants in the form of compost. Our goal is to sort all waste but above all to produce as little as possible.

Technology

Every year is different, every season varies differently and conditions change accordingly. Technology makes it possible to monitor and guarantee the quality of our raisins, but only skills and know-how can make the link with technological evolution...
